Rachael Wheeler, M.A., CCC-SLP
Rachael Wheeler has over 10 years of experience working with children and adults from birth to age 21. Rachael holds a Master’s Degree from Washington State University in Speech and Hearing Sciences and a Bachelor’s Degree from University of Oregon in Communication Disorders and Sciences. Rachael has worked in a variety of settings including county services for Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education, as well as a local school district serving students in the primary, secondary, and adult transition programs.
Rachael’s background includes working with families and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Down Syndrome, language disorders, articulation/phonology disorders, and other developmental delays. She is a current member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is board certified in speech-language pathology by the State of Oregon. In her spare time, Rachael enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children, cooking, and visiting new restaurants in Portland.

- LAMP (Language Acquisition through Motor Planning)
- PODD (Pragmatic Organization Dynamic Display)
- DIR Floortime
- Social Skills/Social Thinking (including coursework by Michelle Garcia Winner)
- NovaChat and Accent speech generating devices (SGD)
